Leviticus and the Duel of Greatness.
The cold blade rested on Render’s neck and Render said “who do you think you are? Some kind of person from Middle Earth?
Render Teleported from where he was and reappeared behind the mysterious figure. Sniff. Render recognized the smell of Pine trees. He turned the person around to see that this boy had pointed ears like himself. “Leviticus?”
“Yes it is me you Silly Elf” punching Render on the shoulder.
Leviticus ,or Levi as he liked to be called stood about shoulder height to Render. He wore a Dark Green cloak and had a very large bag. He had large brown boots and a staff that had a Green gym in his left hand and a sword in the other that glowed a faint hazed green that illuminated their surroundings. Both his eyes glowed green like large green stars.
“My green friend I haven’t seen you in forever.” said Render punching him back. They exchanged a few punches and Render said “that is enough! Where is Clesseath? We need his healing powers immediately.” Levi then whistled and the large Dragon yet not as big as Ancalagon landed gracefully next to Levi.
Clesseath was a male Dragon huge and Dark Green as the leaves on a Pine tree. Even though it was smaller then Ancalagon, Clesseath being younger it still was very large.
The two walked toward the campfire light and Clesseath flew overhead. They met the travelers and saw the wounded Will. Clesseath landed gave a nod of the head towards the two other Dragons which was like a greeting to Dragons. Almost like a hand shake or a wave of the hand.
Clesseath put it’s nose to Levi’s hand and Levi put his other hand on will’s head. Will took a Deep Breath and started to shiver like he was cold. Bonnie got up if trying to stop Levi but Render got in her way. Levi stopped and pulled his hand away and Will was still. After a moment he opened is eyes and said “man that was some fall. Let’s do it again!” he started to get up when Levi pushed him back. “No” Levi started “you must still rest you Dope!” with that will refused to object and went back to bed hoping that tomorrow he could try another crazy thing.
The day Finally cracked open and the Dragons the Travelers both Pirate and Rider alike were introduced to Levi and Clesseath. Ancalagon is Clesseath’s older Brother by the way.
Levi took his Large bag and opened it. He took out a few items. First he took out four MoonBeam cloaks one for Bonnie, Charity, Will and flint. He also took out a Mithrill shirt for Will a bottle of healing liquid for Charity and also a book on Geography of Alagasia. A book of Dragon Keeping also a book of Mind speaking for Bonnie also a pair of Boots that were enchanted. With it it’s wearer could run extra fast jump really high and move silently across the ground. He gave the boots to Bonnie and to Flint he gave a hat that was said to direct any kind of dart weather it was bullet or arrow back towards their shooter the fashion of the hat was very cool and made everyone else very jealous. He gave Render a new black cloak and everyone got their own Elvish blade that would glow blue if enemies were about.
Everyone thanked Levi for the awesome gifts and he just said that they were gifts from the Queen of Elves to the new soon to be Heroes of Alagasia.
Everyone played and experimented with their new gifts like they were gifts of Christmas. Each one who got a Moonbeam cloak would keep on asking if they turned invisible if they hid amongst the rocks. Each one spared with there new blades.
Bonnie challenged Render to a duel. Render made the blades not harm them by using magic to blunt the blades. Shink! went the blades. “No Magic.” said Bonnie with a lock of hair in her face. Render waved his hand and the lock went behind her ear. “Not one spark of light” said Render then pushed her blade back. They both took a step back and took off their cloaks that would drag on the ground and get in their way through the fight. Bonnie gave a smile and met her opponent with Elvish steel. Clink! Clink! Clink! sparks flew from the swords Bonnie was fast with her blade even though Render had two in each hand. Render was slashing on both sides yet Bonnie’s blade was always there to block the blows of the blades of the Elf Ranger. Render was quick on his feet and doing twirls in the air and trying to distract bonnie of her surroundings she would bump into a rock yet still bock the blows. “you really need to learn how to dance Mate you would fight so much better” with that Bonnie heard music being played in her head. It was a tune Render often played on his penny whistle. She smirked and gave Render a dirty look and began to get angry. She fought furiously pushing render back. Everyone was watching closely to this awesome fight. Bonnie got her blade close enough to Renders foot to trip him. She notched his foot and completed her plan to trip Render over. The locks of her hair were all in her face and she held her sword to Render’s neck. “You lose Elf.” smiling behind her mess of hair. “don’t get to over confident!” said Render kicking her feet. Making her lose balance and her aim on Render’s neck. Render jumped up and took some land between him ad Bonnie. Bonnie regained her balance and pushed the hair out of her face. The elf smiled and charged her. Stab! Block! Stab! Block! The fight went on for a half hour it was a fight unmatched nor ever seen before. Will had never known that Bonnie was such a good swordsman. Jumping off rocks and small five foot cliffs. Render managed to get behind a large rock and Bonnie was on the other side each time Bonnie tried to get to Render he would just go around the rock the same way. “Come on you guys this has lasted forever” said Flint getting quit bored. “Not until I win” said Bonnie determined. “We shall call this a draw” Levi said who had just appeared on top of the Rock Render was hiding behind. “you can finish this later” Bonnie gave a sigh and put her nice sword away. The two shook hands but to Render’s surprise she had packed a whole bunch of mud in her hand. “until next time Dragon Rider” said Bonnie with a Smile of Contentment smearing the mud al over Render‘s not anymore clean hand. Render gulped Down. Underestimating his opponent was a very bad mistake.
After the Duel Levi had noticed Miya and pulled out a Minor dragon himself. It was a green male Minor Dragon named Moss after the Mossy colored scales that protected the Dragons Body. He was much older then Miya and asleep. Levi pulled him out of his Hallow by his tail and the little Dragon was hanging upside down asleep. The Dragon noticed the sounds of Miya and Bonnie getting excited that Miya could have a friend Dragon the same size as she was. He woke up and struggled out of Levi’s grip and flew around eying the two and landing on Levi’s shoulder he stared and ran back into his Hallow.
“He is bashful and shy” said Levi giving the flap on his hallow a pat. Bonnie said “oh that’s ok I’m sure that they will soon become friends.
“Well we have three Ridding Dragons and I think we could probably fly the rest of the way to Elismera.” said will who was quit better. Flint nodded and said “cool I’ve never ridden a dragon before!” he was so excited. Chair and Bonnie were also excited. They did not ride a Dragon since they flew over the sea on Ancalagon.
They packed up their packs on the saddles of the Dragons and they all hopped on a Dragon. Bonnie and Render rode on Ancalagon. Will and Flint on Baladon and most of the supplies were on Clesseath and Levi and Chair rode with him.
Bonnie checked on Miya frequently and looked back to Levi. She felt that the two Dragons were mind speaking to each other. So were the Dragons and Dragon Riders. She listened in to the conversations with her mind.
“Wow you never told me there were two Girls with you Render. You just told me to meet you in the middle of the way and bring a few things for five people.” said Levi. Hey the girls can hold there own. Did you not see what Bonnie did to Render?” said will. “Yes but they and flint will never stand a chance against magic users” replied Levi. “we will set wards on them they also have Moonbeam cloaks.” said Render. “good point” said Levi holding his tongue. Miya was being very friendly to Moss yet Moss only replied with a yes or no. she asked how old he was and he didn’t answer. She also asked if he had any brothers or sisters. He said they are all staying with Levi’s sister back in Elismera.
They flew very low. The sky got a little lighter as they got closer to Du WeldenVarden Render and Levi decided to land in the outskirts of the huge forest and teach everyone the manners of the Elves. How to greet someone and how to show respect.
They kind of got it and they just wanted Render and Levi to do all the talking. They made camp and stayed there in the shadows of the forest. Render told everyone stories and Levi and will helped to make the story come to life with the help of magic. If Render talked about fire the Campfire would make a huge explosion and everyone jerked and screamed. If Render talked about bugs. Sure enough Bugs would start flying through the girls hair and crawl out of the mud under their feet. The two Minor Dragons liked this very much and feasted upon their pray. If Render talked about the great sunsets and sunrises of Alagasia sure enough Will and Levi would make projections in the air ahead of them and they would feel the wind upon their faces. The girls found it really hard to go to sleep that night in fear that one of the Dragon Riders would make bugs come into their sleeping bags as a prank. Of coarse they didn’t do that and promised in the ancient language that they wouldn’t. and thus the group went to bed with The Dragons watching at night and sooner or later would trade in the middle of the night with the next Dragon.
The night was cool and calm the wind made a comfortable breeze that comforted everyone. That was probably the best night so far.
In the middle of the night Charity was thinking. The elves would not give these awesome gifts to them unless they were actually going to get in really bad danger. That fact scared her and she had nightmares about getting captured by evil people. Yet was calmed by Moss who had come to comfort her in the middle of the night. She very much appreciated that and went to bed.
