The Scepter of Time and the cavern of Death!

The Sand was So intense in there faces! The Sand ripped small cuts on the flying travelers. The other group’s point of view was blinded. They no longer saw the Dragons nor the riders. But as they almost lost all hope they felt a burst of wind and a shock wave of energy. Cless, Levi, Will and Render with the help of the Dragons used the power of Wind by the Influence of magic to Burst the sand away! It flew by everyone getting sand in their eyes. Thud! The Dragons landed. They were exhausted from flying so fast and using Magic that it made them all pass out. It was Dangerous to play around with the elements.

About a night and a half is what took them to regain their strength. Everyone got healed yet everyone was still weary and hungry. It would take all the energy the Dragon rider’s had to make the barrier move yet they were so tired. It took a while. To pass the time of concentrating on the Barrier Cless tried catching a fly with two chopsticks and successfully had a large pile of dead Flies. Flint and Charity played Cards, and Bonnie had Riddle games with Luna. They were both skilled in the area of riddles and logic. If only they had not heard of the ones they already heard of. For they would answer them pretty quick because they already knew the answer. Even before the questioner finished the riddle.

“There are 20 people in an empty, square room. Each person has full sight of the entire room and everyone in it. If you are not allowed to move in any way (other than your eyes). Where can you place an apple so that all but one person can see it?”

Asked Luna. Bonnie was surprised at this one. She thought of it all day. She thought she had the answer when there was a loud sound Kind of like a large stone moving. It was a stone moving. “We got it opened!” said Render. And so it was there was no light in the Cave and nothing stirred. “I am so tired of Dark underground places” said Charity. “But we have to go.” and off they went. The entrance was too small for the major Dragons. So they stayed outside and guarded the opening into the ground. The barrier looked just like the side of the mountain but now that it was moved you could see where it was. The minor Dragons were frightened and synced danger so they jumped into their individual Pocket-Dens and mind spoke with their keepers and the other Dragons.

They were in the dark cavern. All the magic users had Globes of light in their hands illuminating their surroundings. There were Elvish letters written on the walls. It was just history and the names of the former Elvish Kings and Queens. There were also pictures. One Picture was of Hundreds of Elves fighting a Dark giant face in the sky with a grin of terror shooting red rays of light toward them and one elf held a shining scepter that was gold and from it arose a dark portal and there were people walking through it to another world.

STOP! Said Cless. And they did with a fright. There were little holes in the ground and as Cless pointed his light downward there was a Skeleton with a spike through it that came from one of the holes in the ground. “This hallway was designed to either keep intruders out or keep something else in.” said Cless. The pirates except Will didn’t know what he meant by saying “To keep something else in.” they were confused. The Magic users could not use Magic to turn the Trigger off but could only try to figure out how to cross with out being impaled by the spikes that would launch out of the ground.

It was weird there was a lever next to them but Cless did not want them to pull it. Bonnie was so tempted to go and pull the Lever. Moment by moment they sat there. Bonnie was In such suspense and so close to reaching over and pulling the lever. It was also really cramped in the hallway. She reached up with her hand and was inches away and as she put her hand on the lever it broke down with the touch like a feather and there was a loud sound. “What did you do?!?” Screamed Flint. The spikes were launching out of the ground and there was a rolling sound also flames were shooting out of the walls in front of them. The spikes launched out in some sort of pattern and before anyone had an idea Cless started walking forward dodging the spikes and flame shooters he had studied. It did no take him long to get to the other side. “Just Learn the Pattern and get over here before the Boulders collapse!” Bonnie looked up and there was a whole bunch of boulders hanging from the ceiling and they were slowly being cut by a blade that was sawing the ropes real slow. Both Render and Will went next followed by Levi and Luna and then flint, at this point one of the ropes snapped and the boulder that was hanging from it fell and landed next to Charity and Bonnie’s feet! The girls were hyperventilating and freaking out. How do we survive!?! The Girls were thinking. “Just go!” screamed the people on the other side.

Charity said “Blast these Spikes and flames and boulders!!!” and she ran to the other side dodging spikes and flames. Another boulder fell. Bonnie was Concerned for her life! She was ready to go and as she looked behind hearing a rolling sound. A huge round rock was rolling toward her! “RUN!” She ran! a spike launched and came inches toward her face. She jumped back and ran forward a flame shot in front of her! She Ducked a dart flew toward her feet and she jumped and rolled her way toward the group and saw that a large thick rectangular rock was being lowered from the ceiling and a large pit in front of her was slowly getting larger and larger! She ran and dived through the small gap and over the pit and the rest of the group pulled her through. The gate fell on the ground with a power strong enough to smash a human like a bug!

Smash went the rolling Stone into something. The group was tired and had a twitching feeling. “Bonnie! Don’t you ever do anything like that Again!” Screamed Cless. Bonnie just said Sorry over and over again. The group forgave her but for now on everyone kept a close Eye on her.

The group then found themselves in a long, long, long, long, long, long Hall way. And on both sides of the walls of the hallway were hundreds of holes big enough for a full grown Labrador to easily walk through. “Walk on.” said Levi. They walked on and were quite which they were for a long time for if they weren’t quite they would not have heard the small clicking sound. They were wondering what it was and as they listened there were more and more clicking sounds! It got really loud the Magic users made their lights stronger and as they looked back Millions of Spiders the size of full grown Labradors were swarming toward them with a menacing speed! “RUN!!” at this point all the little hole were being used as a gate for the Spiders they were swarming out of them as soon as the group passed a hole by. There must have been more then five million of theses monsters running all over the walls and the ceiling clicking and spitting. Flint’s foot caught on something! He fell! He got up and the spiders were a yard from biting his leg off! “Run faster!” Screamed charity. Flint was running the hall went on forever. All of the sudden the Spiders started to explode when they got close to the runners. They were like little suicide bombing Arachnids. The green acid flew all over and burned the runner’s armor. But the moon Beam cloaks did not seem to burn at all. These cloaks surely were more powerful then the runners thought. The Spiders were gaining on them! The group of runners were screaming! Cless was the fastest of them all and reached the end of the hall and was next to a lever and as the group reached Cless he pulled it and the whole ceiling fell on the spiders and the green burning acid soup smeared all over the floor burning the runners shoes. “Ok why do the Levers work for you in a good way and don’t work for me at all?” Asked Bonnie with Spider guts all over her hair. And Cless was silent.

At the end of the hallway was a door and the group rested a bit before opening it . And as they opened the door and walked in they came up to a Statue of an eagle. It glowed a golden light and behind it sat a pedestal. A long scepter stood erect from it. It hade a Bird of pray on it with diamond eyes. Yet. In front of the group was a sleeping snake the size of a Bus and as long as a four car freight train. It looked like an Anaconda and it’s tongue slithered in and out of it’s mouth. It just sat there asleep. Render Mind-spoke to everyone. He said “Everyone be quite we want to get out of here alive and with the scepter of time.” And so, all the Magic users went along leaving Bonnie, Luna, charity, and Flint. They watched the scene with suspense. Each magic user was floating in mid air. They did not want to make any sound as the walked on the floor so the levitated toward and over the Snake. As they crossed over the beast it twitched a bit. The Magic users just stopped and looked. The snake remained asleep. Levi had made it to the scepter. It glowed and glittered. And as he reached over to pull out the Scepter of Time from the hole it stuck out of the snake started making sniffing sounds. Levi slowly inched the Scepter out and as he lifted the long golden staff from it’s holding hole there as a click and the walls started to poor out sand and water! The Snake woke and looked a Levi “Hello.” said Levi teleporting to the group. the others ran back down the hall way the snake was close behind. “Quick make the portal!” screamed Cless. The magic users distributed their power to Levi and he made a Portal it glowed and shimmered. The Sand and water mixed and now a huge wave of mud was heading toward them and engulfing the Snake! They all jumped into the portal and instantaneous they were all out of the cave over where the dragons were guarding the cave entrance. Levi with scepter in hand said “We made it now there is hope for the Free people of Alagasia!” but his cry of victory was in vain for as he raised the scepter in the air the Snake had wriggled it’s way through the sand they were standing on. It stared at Levi and the Dragons started fighting the Snake. Fire was shooting everywhere from both the Dragons and the Magic users. The snake with it’s last move bit Ancalagon on the neck and Ancalagon fell! “NO!” Cried Render. And the Snake fell and Died. It had poisoned Ancalagon and Even Render felt the Pain of his Dragon slowly Dieing.

Levi Came over to Ancalagon with his Dragon and Moss and Luna’s green Minor Dragon Olive and with their combined strength slowed the ever growing poison. “It will take something of great power to fight this poison” Said Levi. “I have slowed it down but unless we get a hold of some Crambind Ancalagon will die. “I know someone who might help” said Charity. “Tia Dalma!” and so Ancalagon had the strength to fly yet not fast. He still had a time limit and the group had to get back to the sea to set sail on the Golden Dawn to the Island of Tia Dalma. “let us go to our Magical yet Freakish friend.” said Bonnie and off they went toward the portal back to the world of Pirates.

Ok so this one was full of Action stuff and so I hadn’t had a lot of Ideas for the cavern so here ya go.

I hope that was long enough. I just thought what I wrote was necessary length wise. If ya want I will do the next Chapter but this is where this one ends by Golly!

I shall hopefully write the Next Duren Chapter soon as well.
