The Week of Terror!

Note to self: Make sure you Save work as progress occurs.

Ok so Ancalagon, Render, Chair, Clesseath, Flint, Levi, Baladon. Are on their way to the beginning of the tunnel where they originally entered. And everyone else (Bonnie, Will, Cless and Luna) are on their way to the other end where they will exit and reunite with their wonderful friends.

“Agh! don’t step on my foot Flint” screamed Charity punching Flint. “I didn’t do that on purpose!” Screamed Flint and punching her back. SHH!!! Said Render in both of their Minds. “ Do you want to cause another Cave in?” asked Render. They shook their heads in unison. “Then shut your yammering skull caves! You Nancys!” No one dared to speak after that. They then were heading on their way back to the Tunnel’s entrance.

Will’s light he had made was very weak because of the devilish rock that was crusted across the Tunnel wall. He was able to create a small orb since he was such an accomplished Magic user, And that the Grobdenite was completely scattered and at a weak point at this point in time. “Which way do we go?” asked Bonnie. “Left.” said Will “Right!” said Luna. The group stared at her. “I don’t know just a guess.” “you heard the lady” said Cless “Right it is.” and they took the right way.(no pun intended).

“what is that smell?” said Render with his hand Orb illuminating their surroundings. “it smells like wet Dirt.” said Levi. “some people call it mud” said Render. Levi scowled. Render looked away. They pressed on and the smell got stronger and stronger. When they started to tread on wet dirt (or mud as Render calls it) they spotted a slimy worm slithering from one side of the tunnel to the other and then another. It had razor sharp teeth and looked hungry. All of the sudden a Worm crawled under them and swallowed them all whole and everything went dark!

“what smells like Mud?” said Will. “I don’t know.” said Luna. They were sitting down. It was about lunch time and they were pulling out previsions for the trip. “Sandwiches my favorite not like we ate Sandwiches the day before that and the day before that AND THE DAY BEFORE THAT!!! SAID WILL *TURNING Caps lock off* “Here have some Chocolate.” said Bonnie pulling out a bag full of little chocolate chunks. they ate the Chocolate pretty Quick like a bunch of vacuum cleaners and stood up and started back on their quest. They smelled the smell of mud for a bit but it soon went away. “Hey lets sing something.” said Luna. Luna’s Purple Dragon then came out and started Singing a tune and everyone sang. After their Dinner which was Sandwiches they talked a bit. “I hope the rest of the group is Ok.” said Luna “they are, I’m sure that they are on their way to Silthrim right now and we shall see them soon Cless said that we are almost out of here.” said Will. Even though the Grobdenite was out of sight (Ha I rhymed) Neither Cless or Will could communicate with Render, Levi or the Dragons.

The only sound was the sound that one hears when under water. But the stuff the group was swimming in was not Water. It had an awful taste and burnt their skin slowly. We meet Charity very near Drowning and dark is everywhere. Charity Blacked out and after a few minutes she thought in her thoughts she heard Levi say “Wake! you have suffered enough!” and Charity woke up coughing up the gross Slim that was in her lungs. She gasped for air and slimy snot was in her hair. It still burned her skin and stunk. Charity sat up but was pushed back down by Flint. “settle! you almost Drowned.” said Flint pushing away the slimy mucous off of her arms. She laid back down coughing and was silent. Until she woke again “what happened?” she Asked with a headache and the slim had dried up and got hard like egg whites that has been dried up by the air. “We were all devoured by a Mammoth Worm.” said Render who had the same stuff all over. Charity noticed her surroundings. She was not in the Tunnel but outside in the forest. “How long was I asleep?” she asked. “A day.” replied Flint. “But we were dragged out of the dirt by the Dragons. The worm had surfaced and Levi and Render split open the monster with magic and the Dragons Dragged us out of the Worm’s carcass. “That is so gross!” said Charity.

“Were do we go now?” asked Bonnie. “Right again.” said Luna and Will. They turned that direction and as they walked ahead they spotted a river and as Will made his Orb brighten they saw an underground Pool and a huge Waterfall. They ran toward the water and drank from it. (their water supply had run down). They splashed each other but Will just used Magic to Shield the water from hitting him. The Grobdenite was absolutely gone. Not a trace of it anywhere. So Will’s power was back and so was Cless’s. no one dared to splash Cless he just sat down somewhere near and was thinking hard. They sat down and took a rest and as they were sitting they thought they heard something splashing in the water and they heard a sound. it sounded like a swallow. The group wanted to leave this dumb tunnel and get into the light. Even Will and Cless were getting tired of using magic to light their way. And as soon as they left the pool they heard a FLEP FLAP behind them and as they stopped so did the FLEP FLAP and as they started walking some more it would come back. They were wondering right now “what kind of wet slimy grotesque creature could be following them slithering behind the rocks and mocking them with Ill words? What Kind of sick weird animal might jump up in front of them and scream?” Bonnie thought she felt something touch her. She gave a scream and the group asked what was wrong. she said “Some kind of Slimy, ice cold finger slithered down my neck.” the group put her in the middle and Will took the back. And the FLEP FLAP stopped….For Now….BWAHAHAHA!! The Group decided that the best way to cheer her up was to make fun of the…Creature… so they named him Fred and he really is a dumb mannequin (as are all mannequins) not a slimy creature going to throttle them while they slept. Bonnie had a very hard time sleeping that night.

The cool liquid of the pond was so smooth to everyone’s skin and clothes. They had gotten rid of the Bile and Slim that was eroding their flesh. Charity had quite recovered and was more alert now then ever. Forever she would be scared of Worms. Worms of that kind did not exist in her world nether did elves or Dragons. She was scared. She did not want anything more to happen. Render came to her and said “Listen Charity.” he whispered “There is tale of Shadows that hide behind the trees and dark parts of the forest. This tale is true and should not be taken as a joke. So keep you eyes open.” Charity thought she could successfully cry her eyes out. “Don’t cry we’ll get through this.” said Render reading her thoughts. As they were traveling toward the city they saw many Shadow like hairy beasts briefly running behind cliffs and trees disappearing. They did not see what they looked like nether did Render or Levi tell them what they looked like for they didn’t know nether did anyone. It is said that these creatures only attack those that are alone and the victim is killed before they see what has killed them. Every minute they would see a figure disappear behind something. And it went on. As the dark grew Charity began to feel more scared. “Why aren’t you Freaked out?” asked Charity to Flint “Because I know in my heart that we will be safe. We are being protected you know.” said Flint. And then Flint spoke no more. They set out for camp and as they slept they heard the rustling of leaves and the cracking of sticks and the low howls of the Shadow Creatures.

“Light!” said Bonnie pointing to the Tunnel exit. “Yes it is. After two weeks we have made it finally.” said Will. The light they saw was pitch Moonlight it was beautiful! The Moon was Huge! It was so close they felt that they could jump and grab it if they were on the mountain it was Hanging over. It was Night but they felt it was Day. Clearly their Mental clocks had been messed up as they were in the Tunnel. It was hardly dark outside. One could see the very colors of their clothes and grass and trees the Moonlight was so powerful. They felt like a Promise was made for them a Promise that they would make it. And that Night they rested better then ever which was their mistake. As they were sleeping the Creature crawled out.

Charity woke up and looked around. She was still in the forest and it was still night. She looked at her fellow sleepers and looked up near a tree and a shock of blood like the feeling one gets when frightened. An all of the sudden “freak your heart out” kind of suspense jumped through her she was staring in the face of a Shadow Creature that was crouched down low. It’s Eyes were menacing and Red and that was the only thing she saw ,that and two tusks and a snout. A kind like a wild bore. It gave a Bark and Growled low sniffing. Charity was stun still! Here heart felt like it had stopped and her stomach twisted like she had just seen someone’s stomach ripped out. The heat from her escaped. The Monster shook and then stood to it’s full height it threw out it’s arms and ran toward her Barking like a mad Dog. She was running crazily. She ran and ran felling like her legs would give in she looked back over her shoulder seeing the Monster run after her then another and another! She was surrounded! She tripped on a Root in the ground panting screaming she looked up and a Shadow Monster revealed huge teeth like daggers and Bit her behind her neck she felt the teeth wrenching and twisting into her Brain stem braking her Spinal cord SNAP!!!

In the night of the other sleepers the Creature was lurking and slithering behind rock and tree. It got real close to Bonnie’s face and pointed a skinny finger toward her getting ready to poke her shoulder to see if she was dead already so it could eat her. It poked her on the shoulder and she woke, it jumped on her and the rest of the gang woke up and pulled out ropes that they had beside them. The Dragons shot Flames and Baladon Grabbed this small thing and finally they could get a good look at what was bothering them. It had a skinny face like a Human yet it had the body of a frog and walked on it’s hands and feet. It looked at them with big bulging eyes and said “Wacka!!!” and it screamed and wiggled. “this is no Mannequin.” said Will. “This is a Grodle.” it wiggled and squirmed in Baladon’s grip. Grodles are very unique creatures. They can live a long time and they are also endangered so they are also rare to see. They like warm, dark and moist places and usually stay there forever. Unless their pray leads them somewhere else. They do not have a complicated dialect they usually make Swallowing noises and Clicks with their tongues and say Wacka when they feel surprised. They looked at the sort of innocent creature and let it run away back to it’s home. The morning came soon after that short fight. They ate Breakfast. Sandwiches again they were so tired of the stuff and the Chocolate had run out. Bonnie felt she could of Cried for the loss of Chocolate.

AAGHH!! Screamed Charity. She woke up with Sweat all over her and tears in her eyes. The Nightmare was so real! The rest of the group was already wide awake and decided to give Charity the ability to sleep in. She told them of her Nightmare and everyone shudder and winced at her tale. The day was long and they decided to return to their long journey to Silthrim which was still far away.
